Reference One is Audio Space's flagship masterpiece. It took more than 5 years for this model to come to fruition and be introduced to the market. Reference One has won numerous awards since its launch. It has recently won again the Audio Excellence Award 2005 in Japan sponsored by the prestigious MJ Audio Technology magazine.

Reference One embraces power and refined performance that exemplify sonic reproduction in its finest. It will deliver in the most demanding musical passages with ease while retaining remarkable ability to resolve the finest details with enormous soundstage and vivid imaging. Reference One is capable of revealing great music recording of all kinds. Each monoblock employs a pair of the renowned 300B as driver and a pair of 845 output tubes in a true balanced design.

The Audio Space proprietary "Magic Power" power capacitors are made of highest grade material from Germany. The high tolerance and never dry-out "Magic Power" carries a guaranteed lifetime of more than 50 years. Along with the special made choke coil, the combination provides superior filtering capability. The effect is overwhelmingly revealing in terms of timbre, dynamics, and imaging in music reproduction.

The audio transformers are Audio Space's own top of the line hand-wound beauty. The coupling capacitors are silver/oil impregnated M-Cap from Germany. The result is the highest level of linearity in full range (20Hz - 20kHz) which in turn give rise to superior realism in music reproduction. The system achieves a high degree of transparency when experimenting with tubes of different makes, thus exposing the true natural characteristics of tubes used.

Large amount of attention was extended to the design to eliminate EMI and potential humming. This is reflected in the unmatched low level of noise one can expect from the Reference One with its overall layout and chassis design.
